The purpose of the Urban Partnership for Prosperity (UPP) program is designed to bring together leading corporations throughout Miami-Dade County with minority owned small businesses in a partnership which will support the long term growth of the minority-owned businesses in our community.
The innovative program is designed not only to enhance the economic success of the participating companies, but to assist in the long term development of successful executives and employees in the minority community.
The UPP is a example of the work of the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce and the Beacon Council both helping to promote the development of minority businesses in our county.
This organization is structured into a three-tiered format, which over the
18-month period will promote economic partnerships, executive mentoring and
employee training.

Miami.
