Women’s Business Council-An Initiative of the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce

In 2011 the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce nominated Mrs. Priscilla Dames as the new Chairman of the Women’s Business Council.

The purpose of this new program is to involve more women in the Chamber. This group of women will tackle issues that affect the women business owner.

The intent is to host seminars, workshops and events on a quarterly basis. All of the various events and topics will be decided and hosted by women. This organizational group of women will act as ambassadors of the Chamber.  Their role will be to grow this program to include as many women business owners as possible. They will also play an integral part in the overall fundraising efforts of the Chamber.
